Biography:

Living in Herefordshire, close to the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal that is under restoration it only seemed right to get involved. Since retirement I have taken on the role of giving talks on the restoration of the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal Trust that consist of pictures and videos showing the work that has occurred and is continuing to occur along the canal corridor.

Prior to retirement, my wife was concerned I would have nothing to do. So as a birthday present I attended a course of creating a stained glass window. From then I continued my education in glass work, creating further stained glass items, using copper, lead and then also a microwave and finally getting a kiln to create large items. Westhide Glass was created to enable selling of glass as you can only give so many items to the family and friends.
