What the Worcester-Birmingham and Droitwich Canals Society Thought of Keith’s Talk
The January meeting was as different again with visiting speaker Keith Edwards taking us through so many underground places that most people possibly wouldn’t know about, and if they did, wouldn’t dare venture into. ‘Caver Keith’ as he is known, took the meeting to some spectacular places underground using superb photographs with audio back-up as well as his own input. Keith shared some of the spectacular scenes underground including stalagmites, stalactites and curtains all which were given as reasons for this not without risk, hobby.
The members and guests present were absolutely enthralled with Keith’s presentation which throughout could be heard ‘Wows’ and applause as well as in some instances, laughter. Several questions were asked at the end of the talk with Keith receiving a well-earned accolade afterwards.
