About Me

I’ve been a caver for over thirty-five years and have explored most of the major caving systems in this country. As well as being a member of Dudley Caving Club, I am also a member of the Midlands Cave Rescue Organisation and have been a volunteer in a number of cave rescue incidents for which I have received the Queen’s Golden, Diamond and Platinum Jubilee Medals.

I am also an award-winning cave videographer. My videos can be viewed on my YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/@caverkeith. They have received critical acclaim from the caving community and the channel is one of the most popular caving channels on YouTube. The video view count is now over 54 million and I have almost 87 thousand subscribers.

What the Worcester-Birmingham and Droitwich Canals Society Thought of Keith’s Talk

The January meeting was as different again with visiting speaker Keith Edwards taking us through so many underground places that most people possibly wouldn’t know about, and if they did, wouldn’t dare venture into. ‘Caver Keith’ as he is known, took the meeting to some spectacular places underground using superb photographs with audio back-up as well as his own input. Keith shared some of the spectacular scenes underground including stalagmites, stalactites and curtains all which were given as reasons for this not without risk, hobby.

The members and guests present were absolutely enthralled with Keith’s presentation which throughout could be heard ‘Wows’ and applause as well as in some instances, laughter.
Several questions were asked at the end of the talk with Keith receiving a well-earned accolade afterwards.
