Are you or your family thinking of getting a reptile as a pet? Do you know what is involved?

Taking on any animal as a pet is a big decision, but snakes and lizards have very specific issues. Life expectancy, environmental requirements, locating a vet, having reliable food sources, what to do when a snake stops eating, and arranging a pet sitter for holidays - there is a lot to consider, and this talk aims to provide an understanding of reptile ownership. I would also be happy to answer questions.

About Lucas Rudge

I have owned and run a small reptile rescue for over 15 years. It started almost accidentally but became something that has given me a working life where no two days are the same, and I never know what the next phone call will bring.

I also shoot antique black powder firearms, and am an archer. I have ridden motorbikes, trikes and sidecars since the age of 16, as well as owning an electric vehicle for ten years.
