In view of an ever-increasing rise in antisemitism over the past couple of years amid the usual cries of "not our problem" and without effective support from the government and police force, I aim to set the record straight and confront the problem head-on, wiothout excuses. Antisemitism did not start with The Holocaust nopr with the foundation of the State of Israel. It has been around for 3000 years and shows no sign of going away. Recent tragic events have unfortunately proved that hate does not die, only innocent citizens. The attack at a Manchester synagogue on Yom Kippur and the shootings at Bondi Beach are warning signs that Jews are not safe while extremism and terrorism dominate the streets. My talk aims to show that nothing has changed since the earliest times and the vile policies of Nazi Germany are alive and kicking around the world.

About Freddy Naftel

I have worked in education for over 30 years and as a public speaker/freelance educator for almost 8 years. I am passionate about my subject and have a personal family input which puts a unique spin on the topic. I have a passion for music too and I have worked in music education for over 30 years and as an orchestral percussionist and composer, with several new works to my credit during the past few years. I have a wealth of knowledge about all periods of classical music. I enjoy addressing audiences of all ages and tailor my talks accordingly.

Talks last from 60-90 minutes depending on what is required. As I include a number of photographs to illustrate my Holocaust talk, I would require the use of a laptop/PC, projector and screen.
