The story of Triumph cars, start to finish. A prestigious respected quality car maker, that temporarily disappeared along with its factory during the war, resrurected by the Standard Motor Company post-war. A company that built up an envious reputation for British sports cars around the world as well as small and medium sized luxury saloons. A name that lasted far longer than its post-war parent Standard, cars that still prospered during the perilous British Leyland period and which are today held in esteem by classic cars owners around the world.

About Nigel Thorley

A retired professional editor, author and photographer with particular interest in motoring topics, collecting and hobbies. I can provide professionally produced talks of any length from 30 minutes to a full evening, with or without visual aids, covering a variety of listed topics, or create unique presentations to suit specific organisations. Most talks are accompanied by professionally produced Powerpoint presentations and I can supply the equipment or can plug in to equipment onsite. I am willing to travel any distance provided a contribution is made to mileage/fuel costs.
