The story of Britain's oldest manufacturer of motor vehicles, its fortunes and failures over the years, its significant achievements during two world wars and the flambuoyant period of the Docker era (including Lady Docker's personal extravaganzies). Near bankrupsy, the successful takeover by Jaguar in 1960 led to revitalisation but now the name is assigned to history, but still maintaining an enthusiastic following from collectors of classic cars.
