In this tragic and inspirational story we recall the 1984 murder of Yvonne fletcher, a young Police Constable, killed by agents of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi as she Policed a demonstration outside the Libyan Peoples Bureau.

We examine what took place outside the Embassy, the events leading up to that fateful day and the aftermath that reverberated around the world. We salute the decades long fight for justice by Yvonne’s colleagues who fulfilled a promise to bring the killer to justice. Finally, we confront the uncomfortable truth of the UK government’s role and highlight the reasons Yvonne became a victim of one of Britain’s worst Policing tragedies. 45 mins.
