An interactive 45-minute talk designed for students & schools that explains jobs within the games industry.
Covers the overall size of the UK games industry and the many different potential careers young people could prepare for. Broken down by different disciplines, highlighting skills and example tasks of the job. To keep it engaging for young people, we also "design" a game together through audience participation and discuss the different stages of game development as we progress through the talk.
This has previously been delivered at the Norwich Games Festival, Norfolk Library (Digifest) and various high school career days.
Can be delivered online or in-person.
