A talk about Glen House, its history and my recollections of working there.
I grew up on The Glen Estate in the Scottish Borders. Working on the housekeeping team at Glen House, the Scottish home of Lord & Lady Glenconner and depicted in TV’s The Crown, was my first job.
All my talks are illustrated. I am based in Hampshire and can also work from the Borders. Due to travel costs I am unlikely to travel more than an hour from Stockbridge in Hampshire or Galashiels in the Borders.
