About Ruth B Kerr

I spent around 20 years working full-time in the museum sector before becoming entirely freelance. Today I work under the name Museums and More to reflect the variety of clients in my portfolio. As well as speaking to groups, I deliver a range of freelance work for museums and heritage sites and lead artefact-inspired reminiscence with older people. I also deliver regular freelance work for three rural charities, taking disadvantaged children to farms to learn about food for one, arranging delivery of learning events around natural science & land management for another, and working as communications manager for the third.

I’m based in Hampshire and can also work from the Scottish Borders. Please note due to travel costs, I’m unlikely to be able to travel for more than an hour from Romsey or Winchester in Hampshire, or Galashiels in the Borders.
