Educational Neuroscience is fast becoming a prominent body of knowledge informing educational practice. How can we apply neuroscientific knowledge meaningfully and practically in our everyday work and lives, and enhance outcomes for children and young people? The talk aims to empower all those interested in teaching and learning and mobilize knowledge, experience and expertise in applying emerging neuroscientific understanding in everyday lives and in practice.

I am passionate about integrating neuroscience into practice, with my doctoral research focusing on how advancements in neuroscience can enhance our understanding of children's learning and development. As a published author of Essentials in Neuroscience: Key Directions for Educational Psychologists, I strive to bridge research and practical application. My approach incorporates evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and personal construct psychology. I am dedicated to delivering tailored interventions, professional training, and compassionate, collaborative support to meet the diverse needs of children, families, and professionals.
