What, if anything is truth? How do we know what and what not to believe? This question is as old as civilisation and there's been plenty written about it. This talk will provide a non-technical and entertaining introduction to one of the central questions in philosophy. We'll take in some of the big names in the history of ideas on the journey and I'll intertwine that with the story of my personal interest and personal journey in the quest for truth.
