We would like to talk about what Community First Responders do including how we are contacted by the ambulance service, our kit we carry. The jobs we go to including cardiac arrests, breathing difficulties, seizures, chest pain and strokes. We can demonstrate the non injury falls chair and the benefits to the patient. We can demonstrate basic life support including using a defib. How we spend funds that are donated to us.

About Sharon Dobson

We are Community First Responders for the South Western Ambulance Service Trust. We respond as volunteers ahead of the ambulance to incidents such as cardiac arrests, seizures, chest pain, strokes and breathing difficulties. We also go to non-injury falls, meaning patients are back on their feet without an ambulance crew being needed and saving hospital admissions.

We would like to talk about what we do, our Community First Responders for vehicle, and can demonstrate Basic Life Support with a defib. All funds raised here will go towards our charity buying equipment and funding our car.
