The Charterhouse in London has a history dating back to the time of the Black Death. Now an almshouse, it has also been a Carthusian monastery, a Tudor mansion and a school. This illustrated talk explores the history of what has been called one of London's hidden gems and takes us on a brief tour of the site. Organisations/Venues should have appropriate IT and projection facilities to allow a PowerPoint presentation to be shown. This talk lasts about an hour.
