Charles Mortlock was a 19 year old apprentice deck officer during the 1982 Falklands war and served aboard the RFA Regent, an ammunition supply ship whose task was to supply ammunition underway while at sea to the Royal Navy
He provides a worms eye view of the war using powerpoint presentation, photographs and videos to cast light upon the worlds first missile war at sea and the logistics effort provided by the Merchant Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary.
Charles was also a witness to the destruction of the Merchant Ship the SS Atlantic Conveyor and its volunteer crew and discusses Britains nuclear weapons incident when the RFA Regent and the Atlantic Conveyor were ordered into the path of the approaching missiles.

Later I ran a ships marine navigation electronics business for 25 years and these days work as a yacht skipper in the summer and a labourer in the winter.
