My path to enlightenment and my calling to help others through their cancer journey, and to raise awareness of cancer so hopefully others don’t have to make the journey.

Before December 2021 I was relaxing my way through retirement (Pandemic excepted) when I was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. Since then I have been on my own cancer journey. The roller coaster ride of hormone therapy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and setbacks with problems with my blood. The darkness has now passed and I am in a period of enlightenment. I volunteer for Yorkshire Cancer Community and Prostate Cancer UK, raising awareness and supporting people living with cancer or those who’s life is being affected by someone living with cancer.
