This talk focuses on Dressing Queen Victoria for either a state occasion, evening wear or day wear.

The talk will contain both a visual representation of the various layers it takes to create an authentic Victorian silhouette as well as an informative walkthrough to each step of dressing.

Using authentic underpinnings, garments and replicas your audience will be immersed in how the Queen of England once took on the mundane task of getting dressed.

Guests will be provided a chance to try on reproduction of Victorian clothing.

About Amelia Stephenson

Amelia is a historical historical interpreter specialising in the Victorian era (1837-1901)

She provides many services such as character interpretation, hands on history, historical workshops, educational talks and tours.

Amelia can also provide replica handling sessions which consist of replicas of Queen Victoria & Prince Albert’s regalia and jewels. She can also provide displays and talks on original and reproduction Victorian clothing/items.

Not only is Amelia a historical interpreter but she also makes period correct clothing. She is currently studying Costume Construction BA (Honours) at the University Centre of South Essex
