I am passionate about my role within charity sector. My role is Community Fundraiser and Events Coordinator. I regularly visit schools and groups to talk about our amazing charity. Our charity covers Lancashire, Sefton, Morecambe and Lancaster. I would like to come and talk to you and raise awareness of visual impairments.

Can you imagine if one day, you woke up and you couldn't see - what would you do, how would you feel?

I can talk to you about our work and what our charity can provide. I also make my talks pretty interactive and fun.

About Michelle Hawley

It’s estimated that there are over 50,000 people living with some degree of sight loss in the areas we work. We understand that over half of these people feel moderately or completely cut off from people, things and the communities that surround them. We want to change that. We want to live in a community where blind and partially sighted people have the same opportunities as everybody else, but we can’t do it alone.

We need to raise £1.5 million this year to enable us to continue our work. A large part of what we do is largely community based.

As part of my role I carry out awareness workshops that I make interactive and fun.
