About Laura Adkins

I am passionate about history and sharing it with others. I have experience of giving talks to small and large groups of people of all ages on Whitehall Palace. These talks have been well researched and prepared by myself. I adapt my talks to my audience and am proactive on the best way to direct the talk.

I have also experience of being a tour guide around central London, the changing of the guard and London’s Royal Palaces. Although I was working to a set route on my tours I had the freedom to incorporate what i wanted to at each stop and again adapt it to suit the needs of those listening. I have also done Harry Potter tours in London, highlighting some of the filming locations.

I have sessions relating to the line of succession, Whitehall Palace, Royal London and the development of castles. I also can assist with ks1 and 2 history.

I havr recently had my debut book published by Pen and Sword Kateryn Parr- Henry VIIIs sixth Queen and offer talks on Kateryn and her life.
