I studied history at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, then worked in the public sector for 35 years. I now undertake voluntary work, and I am an active member of Whitley Bay U3A. I have a long-standing interest in Dark Age and Medieval History, but European, US and modern history are equally compelling.I am currently leading a group looking at The 1930s.
