This talk focuses on saving seed from your own flower, vegetable, and shrub plants. We look at the difference between hybrids, F1 and heritage varieties and how to choose the best plants to save seed from. You'll hear about when to collect your seeds, and when not to.
I demonstrate some seed saving techniques and how to clean them for storage. You'll also see how to test for germination and viability.
