After working with the Tibet Society for many years as Chairman and now Vice President, the speaker gives a brief outline of Tibetan history, religion and culture. His trip to Tibet in 1994 is outlined with his own photographs and tales of his experiences. Between 1993 and 2006 he travelled around the remote Tibetan settlements of North East India delivering Lottery funding and initiating a number of projects to help Tibetan refugees. The current situation in Tibet is discussed and the speaker is able to answer a wide range of questions from years of experience working with the Tibetans.
