The Schneider Trophy and how it influenced World War aircraft design. (This can be delivered in 1, 2, 3 or 4 different parts covering different aspects and details depending on the available time or multiple meetings). Originally developed and delivered to the Cheltenham U3A Military History Group in two parts lasting about 1 Hr & 40 mins total, there are also “Brief” versions that can be delivered in around 40 mins. & tuned for lengths in between. Focus is not only on the development of the aircraft, but also the designers and influencers of the time.

Based in Gloucestershire I am a retired Aviation Industry Engineer and Programme Manager. I actively support my local Rotary Club (Twice President) as well as being an active guide at The Jet Age Museum close to Staverton Airport and working in the engineering team of the local Stroudwater Canal Restoration project. I'm happy to travel around Gloucestershire and areas close to it and have delivered my presentations numerous times to Rotary Clubs, PROBUS, WI, U3A etc.
