A tongue-in-cheek perspective of birding and birders of all types: eccentrictities, anecdotes, photos and film clips. More serious issues relating to the biodiversity crisis also covered. I'm a local councillor who scrapes a living from doing birds so that I can do voluntary work in between engagements.

About Glyn Evans

Local councillor doing environmental and biodiversity work, networking and lobbying others to do likewise. Parochial bird watcher on my local patch in Wivenhoe, with occasional trips further afield as a professional bird guide and on holidays, my talks can range from watching garden birds to Birds and Wildlife of the Hebrides to an appetiser for the book yet to be written: "Perspectives of a Parochial Birder". A humorous and engaging speaker with all my own kit!
