About Sharon Thompson

Sharon Thompson delivers thought-provoking presentations that both inspire and challenge audiences to leverage their focus on leadership development. Audiences love her practical strategies which they can apply both personally and professionally through self-leadership. In 2010, Sharon abandoned new year’s resolutions and instead focused on drawing a plan to change her life in a decade. Sharon has since gone onto receive several awards for her contributions to Social Change and Politics. Through self-leadership she has transformed her life from a once homeless teenager to political leadership in the largest Council in Europe, leading the biggest and at times the most challenging housing portfolio in UK Local Government. Sharon has an expertise in housing which has seen her speak in front of Select Committees, National and European housing conferences. In addition, she has sat on national housing commissions. She is particularly passionate about supporting Women in Leadership. She is a certified Executive Coach, trainer, and founder of Tilt360Ltd which prides itself on supporting organisations with tilting their thinking, strategies, and organisation through Leadership Development. Sharon is often delivering keynote speeches on Homelessness, Housing Retrofit, Women in Leadership alongside to audiences of Black, Asian, Ethnic Minorites in Leadership.
