New talk with a difference. For those who have enjoyed time through the ages, this talk will be quite different as it concentrates on a specific sector of time, showing the development of alarm clocks over the centuries. This has been triggered by the generosity and consideration of a lady from Louth U3A, name. Penelope generously offered me a collection of alarm clocks, which her late father had put together, obviously a fanatic of the topic. Consequently, as the owner over 140 examples I had no hesitation at including this talk in my program. In addition to the usual PowerPoint presentation, for face-to-face talks, I will also display several of the clocks, which will no doubt trigger memories of many of the audience.
