Many people have traveled around India, I did it as a single older woman using only baseline amenities - public bus/motorbike/train/sleeper train This talk covers over 42,000 miles and is about the amazing people I met, the wonderful things I saw and did that no guidebook shows. This talk is aimed at inspiring people from the age of 18 years to 80 years to do what is in their hearts, to have no regrets. Powerpoint photos accompany this talk so that audiences can get a deeper understanding of the explosion of colour and happiness that is India.

About Tracy Shipley

Born in Dulwich, London, although my family hail from Christchurch, Dorset. I began my traveling days in Nigeria, at the age of 2 1/2 and have since travelled to over * 42 countries * staying various lengths of time from a lunch to 5 years. I have written up an account of my travel escapades around India, I have published a book on Incidences an Co-incidences whilst traveling alone and for the Swimfun Experience,(Amazon) I qualified as a professional swim teacher in 1986 and have written The Swimfun trilogy for adults to enjoy spending time in the water with their children aged from 5 weeks to 9 years. The talks are mainly aimed at adults, and for schools year 5 upwards. Hopefully, they are there to inspire everyone to follow their dreams - whatever they may be.
