An inspiring and adventurous talk sharing life experiences traveling to remote rainforest around the world. From the living with hunter gatherer tribes in South East Asia, to spending time with Shamans in the Amazon rainforest learning about medicinal plants. Diving deep into the world of jungle survival and what it's like living in the rainforest with tribal cultures. Highlighting deforestation, tribal land rights, conservation and the protection of wildlife and biodiversity.

A visual and engaging presentation that including jungle photography and footage. Sharing experiences on jungle expeditions, wildlife conservation projects and teaching survival skills in forests around the world.

Taking a look at ancient trees, forest ecology and tree & forest conservation, regeneration and sustainable agriculture.

About Yara Ghrewati

Yara is a Survival & Bushcraft Instructor, Archery Instructor & Forest Bathing Practitioner working in UK woodlands. Founder of outdoor & environmental company Wildeye Adventures, public speaker and an adventurous and engaging storyteller.

Taking audiences on an exciting journey into rainforests arounds the world. From jungle survival, expeditions in the Amazon, to wildlife conservation projects in Borneo. Sharing knowledge on ancient trees, woodland ecology, forests, the healing benefits of spending time around trees and adopting survival skills with remote tribal cultures.

Yara inspires a deeper connection to the environment & natural world. Exploring humans and their connection to the nature; globalisation, self-sufficient cultures and sustainable living. Examining survival in the "concrete jungle" in comparison to survival in the real jungle.

Yara has worked on jungle expeditions, wildlife conservation projects and is an environmental campaigner. Raising awareness on tree & forest protection & reforestation. She spent time learning about plant medicine from Shamans and has taught survival skills in the Amazon. Yara encourages embracing new experiences and stepping out of the comfort zone to discover skills & potential. Her talks invokes reconnecting to the nature, sharing knowledge on medicinal plants, herbs & flowers that can be found on our doorstep or city back gardens. Raising awareness on nature science, the power of trees and the positive health benefits of spending time in nature (forest bathing)

Yara was featured in the Bushcraft & Survival Skills Magazine Sept 2017 issue on ‘Women in the Wild’ was 2018 & 2019 presenter of The Bushcraft Show. She's appeared on ITV News speaking about the importance of having a positive mental attitude in survival psychology. Yara intuitively connects with each audience; inspiring nature connection, adventure travel and sharing valuable outdoor & environmental education.
