The 19th century saw over a million immigrants arrive in London, from all over the world as well as the British Isles. Some were escaping from persecution, but all hoped for a better life for themselves and their families. Some succeeded , but others failed.

Her current research interests are centred around the social and personal impact of the First World War, with a secondary interest in the lives of ordinary people during the 19th century.
She is happy to use Zoom when required.
