I will delve into my 40-year Scrabble career which has covered competitive tournaments all over the world.
As well as giving plenty of tips on how to win, I will give an insight into some of the world's top players, and lots of really funny anecdotes from my experiences along the way.
I can also incorporate a few gems from my time as both Contestant and Producer of Channel 4's 'Countdown' - a lot more goes on behind the scenes than you may think...!

I became the 1st UK World Scrabble Champion at the Plaza Hotel in New York in 1993, and have come 2nd in both 1999 and 2016. I have also won the UK Championship a record 4 times and am author of the bestseller "Scrabble Secrets", published by Harper Collins.
I was also the 1st 'Countdown Champion of Champions' and went on to become Programme Associate and ultimately the show's Producer in the 1990's.
