This talk explores some of the lesser-known islands of the Hebrides and presents a wealth of wildlife, history and heritage. We visit some of the smaller islands - with memorable names such as Muck, Eigg, Rum, Ulva, Geometra and Colonsay - and see some of the stunning beaches, mountains and seascapes. We look at island life too - big ferries, small ferries, tiny shops and tiny churches - and also explore remote cliffs and caves. The talk finishes on the isolated archipelago of St Kilda, an extraordinary World Heritage Site 40 miles west of the Outer Hebrides.
