The story of an epic challenge to become the smallest dinghy to ever sail from Lands End to John O Groats. Ken's boat Yoda weighs as much as a labrador dog and is only twice the length of your bath tub at home. By attempting to sail it from Lands End to John O Groats he hopes to raise £50,000 for two Cancer charities, but with only 1 person having achieved it before the odds are stacked against him. Follow the emotional roller coaster of RNLI rescues, giant whirlpools, fog banks and thieving badgers as he progresses northwards. Told with lots of on board footage and stunning photos Ken re-tells his adventures in an open and honest way, reflecting on the emotions of loss, loneliness, elation and the pressures that time constraints bring. You don't have to be a sailor to relate to this talk, it is designed for all and guarantees you an hour of adrenaline filled armchair adventuring. The talk is given solely to help raise money for Cancer charities.
