Speaks on behalf of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution with particular emphasis on 'Women of the RNLI' describing the role of women both historically and up to present day.
Wendy is a volunteer Lifeboats Stations Visits Officer, volunteer speaker and Press Officer for the Teignmouth Lifeboat Fundraising Team in Devon.
As a keen sailor living on the coast Wendy appreciates the opportunity to be involved with Saving Lives at Sea.
Her employment background is human resource management and employment law and so her interest in diverse working environments led to her finding out more about women in the RNLI and her research has contributed to this talk.
