Views: 1360 | Enquiries: 1Sarah is an antiques dealer and speaker/lecturer. In 2019 she became an expert lecturer for the V&A Museum. She has been in the antiques trade since 1992 when she trained as a ceramics restorer but was introduced to the world of antiques at a very early age.
In 2004 she founded Bags of Glamour dealing in antique, collectable and luxury handbags, compacts and accessories and as well as participating in high profile antiques fairs at the NEC and other selected venues.
She undertakes talks and lectures across the country. During the pandemic Sarah has taken to Zoom to offer talks and lectures and is happy to host small or large groups.
Sarah has been giving talks and presentations for a number of years and has also taken part in live and pre-recorded radio presentations and interviews. In 2019 she was invited to take part in the Celebrity Talks at The Art & Antiques for Everyone Fair at Birmingham NEC alongside Judith Millar of the Antiques Roadshow.
In 2019 Sarah was approached by the V&A to become an expert lecturer for the Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum. This year she has lectured as part of their Bags: Past, Present and Future course which runs alongside their Bags: Inside Out exhibition.
Sarah’s talks are informative and engaging with a little added humour. She is known country wide for her specialism.
Sarah now has Zoom Pro which means she can facilitate zoom talks for up to 100 people with no formal time limit (the time limit to be agreed with the group). Sarah also has access to Microsoft Teams and can present via Teams with PowerPoint if required.
