Views: 1167 | Enquiries: 8I have been connected with the Leicester Symphony Orchestra for many years. Since retirement I have spent a great deal of time researching the life of Sir Malcolm Sargent, the orchestra's founder. I am also a great enthusiast for Edward Elgar and his music. All fascinating stuff.
I have spoken to many groups in the last 3 years and I can safely say I have always been well received. Both Malcolm Sargent and Edward Elgar are men who rose from relative obscurity to the top of their professions, becoming national heroes with an international following. Whether or not you know much about music, these stories will appeal. Zoom enquiries welcome - from anywhere!
All takings go to my charity, Leicester Symphony Orchestra.
