Jeff's talks on the history of pop music on British television have been widely acclaimed. The full 60+ years of televised music are covered, from the early days of rock 'n' roll to the present day – from shows such as Six-Five Special and Oh Boy!, through Ready, Steady, Go!, Top of the Pops, The Old Grey Whistle Test and The Tube to Later with Jools Holland and Glastonbury. Expect lots of warm memories and great stories, plus a few surprises.

The talks last from 45 minutes to two hours (including questions) and feature a colourful Powerpoint show, recalling many of the great music programmes of the past, with some audio where possible and relevant. The content can be tailored to the audience, focusing on the 1950s/60s, perhaps, or later eras.

The talks can also be presented via Zoom.
