This public talk is a tale of mystery and intrigue, taken from my Grandmother's recently discovered 1902 journal, when she worked in service as a dressmaker in a large manor house in Kent. This is a very popular talk and usually gets a few oohs and aahhs in the middle. I don't want to say too much as it will spoil the tale, which I found in her 1902 journal when she was just twenty years old. The journal was in an old metal box and it was by chance that I spotted it, while researching the old pictures and documents for my other talk. The journal was just a thin book with a small photo album tied to it with black ribbon. I had to type it out as the writing had faded badly, but the more I typed the more engrossed I became with the very strange and mysterious tale. The photo album included all the people in the story and the reason why my Grandmother had the album. If you are interested I'll come and tell you the rest of the tale.

About Heather Wylde

I am a professional speaker and at the moment I have two public talks which are very successful. As an artist I also run an Art workshop which has proved very popular and great fun. Both talks and Art workshop, last just under one hour.

I use power point presentations for both my talks and I provide my own equipment unless you would prefer that I use yours. I have my own laptop, projector and screen (if needed), plus pictures and documents relating to the talks.

I also bring all the equipment for my Art workshop, including paper, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners and in some cases paints. I also bring completed tiger face pictures and some that already have the eyes drawn in.

My talks and workshop appeal to both ladies and gentlemen of all ages. They are all very interesting in their own way and the Art workshop is great fun .Please contact me to find out more.
