I’m an independent agricultural consultant, having started my business five years ago to help farmers work more in harmony with nature. My passion for farming began on my family’s smallholding, and after agricultural college I ran a pig farm while also lambing and relief milking. I went on to milk on Salisbury Plain and eventually managed 500 dairy cows in Dorset and Hampshire. Later, I farmed in the Cotswolds on a mixed organic farm, bringing the fun back into farming. More recently, I’ve been working with Barbers Cheese, helping to carbon footprint their supplying farmers as part of their Nature Positive initiative, making farming even more environmentally friendly.
