Biography:

I became a funeral celebrant, as I’ve had a lifelong fascination with people, their stories, and how they live in the world, from the mundane to the extraordinary. It is an absolute privilege to support families through the funeral process, listen to their stories to create a ceremony, and lead their loved one’s funeral.

As death can be a tricky subject, I’m keen to encourage more people to engage with the topic to lessen the fear. However, I am mindful and respectful that people come to this subject with different viewpoints and experiences.

Before becoming a celebrant, I worked in various businesses and schools. I have volunteered as a Samaritan and in my local community. My academic background lies in animal science and psychology. I’ve honed my speaking abilities through podcasting and as a member of Toastmasters (an international organisation supporting public speaking).
