Carol Hickson is a multi-disciplined therapist, life coach, workplace mental health & resilience trainer and author of: • The Resilience Template®, 7 Steps to Improve Your Mental Health • Beeston, the Anxious Pup.

She works with individuals and businesses to transform lives. Her interest lies in helping people understand the psychology of being human so that they can return to a state of human being and not human doing. Carol has several main drivers:

  • Childhood trauma
  • Bereavement
  • Chronic Illness and pain
  • Chronic Insomnia

Her online course The Resilience Template® We Bounce Back will be launched in September 2026 along with her resilience podcast.

Formerly a teacher, Carol spent over 20 years supporting young people in Education.

Raised in a challenging family, her interest lies in helping those who have experienced childhood trauma.
