Biography:

I write about cricket history on the "Old Ebor" blog, and have published two cricket books: a biography of the Yorkshire bowler George Macaulay, and a history of the Original English Lady Cricketers, the world's first professional women's cricket team. I have also written a book about the "Bill's o'Jack's" murders, the (unsolved) killing of William Bradbury and his son Thomas at Greenfield, Saddleworth, in 1832.
