My name is Anita Ebdon,

I am a professional falconer and run Hampshire Hawk Walks offering unique one to one falconry experiences, hawk walks and hunting days with my team of Harris hawks and my barn owls Wilfred and Diddly I have been a falconer for the past 8 years and own 11 birds of prey which have become my way of life. There is an interesting story that has led me to where I am now and I love sharing my interest and knowledge of these magnificent creatures with people of all ages. I have all the required Licenses and public liability insurances to operate my business and am registered with local council, and hold a valid Animal activities license. Birds attending are tethered to a perch or on my glove and calm throughout the talk and are used to being indoors with people,

I enjoy giving interactive and light hearted talks which are both educational and at times humorous, giving the audience the opportunity to see me interact with my birds and the relationship that I have developed with them. I base my talks around the history of falconry, general bird of prey facts and physiology along with giving a practical insight into my life with birds and what its like to work with such amazing and regal creatures on a daily basis and what is involved in their care. For a truly hands on a experience attendees can have the chance to meet and hold the birds at the end of a talk if they wish and time allows. I am based near Alton in Hampshire will travel around an hour and am happy to speak to any age group.

I charge between £95 and £150 depending on day, time and organisation.
