Leaving life as an English teacher behind in 2022, Lorna embarked on a new career as a writer. Her debut novel Finding Home was published in August 2025 and shortlisted for the RNA Debut Novel of the Year. Her second novel, Sisters of the Tide was published in August 2026. Her novels are all a thrilling mix of romance, mystery and suspense, set against a dramatic backdrop of rugged Cornish coves and wild seas.
