Biography:

James Adeleke, a Nigerian-born dyslexic social entrepreneur, is on a mission to create a fairer world by tackling social inequalities. As the Founder and CEO of Generation Success, an award-winning social enterprise, James collaborates with over 70 employers across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. His organization focuses on connecting diverse talent with career opportunities, offering mentoring, training, and early careers recruitment services that help to level the playing field for underrepresented groups.

James founded Generation Success in the wake of the London riots, driven by a deep belief that no one's career should be defined by their birth circumstances. Having seen firsthand the struggles that many of his peers in law school faced due to their social and economic backgrounds, he felt compelled to take action. Since then, his work has had a significant impact on social mobility, employability, and breaking down barriers in the job market.

Over the years, James has been actively involved in a range of projects, reports, and commissions focused on enterprise and employability. He has spoken at both Parliament and City Hall on issues such as social mobility, diversity, and equal access to career opportunities. His leadership roles extend to being a Co-opted Member of the Education Board at the City of London Corporation, a school governor at Newham Collegiate, and an Independent Member of the Student Association Board at Arden University.

James is also leading the Open Your Doors initiative, which is set to launch in September 2025. This groundbreaking movement seeks to empower individuals and organizations to embrace inclusivity and create meaningful pathways to success for all, especially for those from marginalized communities. The initiative underscores James' unwavering commitment to breaking down barriers and ensuring equal access to opportunities for everyone.

His contributions have not gone unrecognized. James has received several prestigious honors, including the Freedom of the City of London and the title of Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). These accolades are a testament to his dedication to driving social change and his influence as a thought leader in the areas of social mobility and diversity.

Passionate about motivating others, James excels in building productive relationships and creating effective strategies that support the success of those he works with. His personal experiences with dyslexia and dyspraxia have further fueled his determination to challenge limitations and inspire others to reach their full potential, making him a powerful voice for change.
