Biography:

The ultimate beating of the bounds. An epic Odyssey. A 5000mile continuous circumnavigation of the British coastline on foot. Completed in 2007, an 11 month walk- with partner and dog, Havoc. Something for everyone, slides, humorous encounters, relationship conflict, scenery, history, social observation, blisters! £50,000 raised for charity at the time. Now written up in a book, "dunwalkin" telling the tale of this adventure. All proceeds to Guide Dogs for the Blind. Many times people have said, " I would love to do that". We did, helped by so many along the way, their contribution was their way of walking in our footsteps. From initial inspiration, through hardships, all weathers, perfect panoramas and the occasional eyesore. Where is Lleyn or Mersey Island? What is the Elie Chainwalk? How do you eat a Smokie or release a fox from a share? Why do Hashers call on on? When did you visit "Sambo's grave?" Absorbing, informative, entertaining, intriguing and funny. Share the adventure.
