Biography:

Helen is a solution-focused Hypnotherapist with two level 4 diplomas and membership to the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH), Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the Association of Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (ASFH).

The practice of Hypnotherapy is based in neuroscience and as a Hypnotherapist, Helen can help individuals change the neural pathways in their brain to alter their habits and find healthier solutions. It is done through sessions that focus on moving towards your goal with small steps you decide you can accomplish.

Helen is passionate about helping people discover within themselves strategies for moving beyond their boundaries and rediscovering their best selves. An individual will have the answers to all their own questions about the best way forward and Helen will help find those answers through discussion and trance therapy.

Helen’s journey to Hypnotherapy started years earlier in her previous life as an educator. Teaching students in colleges and universities in the UK, US and Western Pacific, Helen often encountered students with significant barriers to learning, whether that be confidence, motivation, exam stress or past trauma and difficulties in daily living. More and more she wanted to help her students become their best selves so that they could learn. Pastoral support was not enough and so she embarked on a counselling qualification. During this period of study, she was exposed to hypnotherapy and decided to switch her focus as the methods, she felt, were producing better and faster results.

Helen can talk about the neuroscience behind hypnotherapy and make it interactive with a relaxation session at the end if desired.
