I give these talks for enjoyment (mine and yours, I hope!). I've been a professional seminar presenter for many years, and now I focus on my creative writing - novels and short stories, mostly based in the English Lake District.
Currently, my most popular talk combines themes from my recent novel, 'The Leaf Slide' amplified with the work of singer/songwriters like Jake Thackray, Bob Dylan and Tom Paxton. For this talk, I bring my guitar along with me, and I work with a very simple setup. If you're happy for me to display a few of my books, I'd appreciate a table. That apart, nothing except a chair for me and an audience who may be interested in hearing about my main character, Detective Chief Inspector Max Wordsworth, 'the reluctant Lakeland detective'. I'll sing some songs to embellish the main themes of Max's story, and I hope to interest your audience in buying some of my books - at a discounted price, of course.
As I mentioned in the headline, I can also offer many other talks and workshops reflecting my years of experience as a management consultant. Our strap line was 'Soft Skills Set to Work'.

I retired from travelling after a climbing accident. My talks now compensate in part for the excitement I miss.
I live in a house in the Lake District once owned by Beatrix Potter. Here I write novels, short stories and plays, and I produce online business webinars for different websites. My books are available on Amazon in various formats, and I've also recorded my own work, and that of over a dozen authors, for Amazon Audible.
