Views: 13 | Enquiries: 0Andy’s aviation career began in 1962 with an 18-year flying career in The Royal Air Force which included crewing the nuclear armed Avro Vulcan during the cold war. In 1980, he took early retirement to pursue another side of aviation focussing on International Business Development within the Aerospace Industry.
Starting as a marketing executive with British Aerospace before transitioning to McDonnell Douglas in America and then continuing with The Boeing Company following their corporate merger. His final appointment prior to retirement was as an International Marketing Director within the Boeing Military Aircraft Division.
Elected a Member of The Royal Institute of Navigation in 1980, a Fellow of The Royal Aeronautical Society in 2010, a Member of the American Helicopter Society in 2012 and an Upper Freeman of The Honourable Company of Air Pilots in 2013.
Andy and his wife Jeannie live in Weybridge, Surrey where he Chairman of Weybridge & Walton PROBUS. He travels the country delivering a range of highly acclaimed aviation talks.
