From a traitorous baronet to a songwriting fishmonger and many in between, John's talks will lead you back through the centuries and introduce the audiance to some of the fascinating characters of the time.

The talks are illustrated with song which might range from a 17th century ballad through music hall to Broadway and modern times. A tune or two on John's concertina will usually complete the performance.

About John Eaves

Having retired from a busy working life in the law, John has turned his active mind to his interests of singing, history and writing.

This has resulted in his first book of short stories being published and a new career of presenting stories and songs around the lives of people in bygone days
