Isambard Brunel would never have been as successful as he was without his engineering friends. This talk covers how his vision was turned into reality with the help of his friends. He had many other non engineering friends as he was keen on shakespeare and his wife's family had an artisitic background. Learn how he is similar to Steve Jobs!

I volunteer on a ship in Bristol harbour called the SS Great Britain. I can give a talk on the designer of the ship Isambard Brunel, and the changing world in which he lived in the 18oo's. I am prepared to give talks within Bristol and nearby towns or villages. I have a usb stick to use in your laptop, projector and screen to show powerpoint, or to plug in to a TV . I am prepared to talk at short notice.
