Join Kate at the piano, authentically dressed, for this fascinating songs & stories show about the music makers and movers & shakers of the Art Deco era. Kate Garner, song historian & ambassador of ‘The Art Deco Society UK’, sings songs from the 1920s & 30s and looks at how this sophisticated era shaped popular culture throughout the subsequent decades - from a Clarice Cliff teapot to the TV shows we loved like ‘Poirot’ & ‘Downton Abbey’. From the sophisticated tunes of Noel Coward to the elegance of the Great American Songbook gems, Kate celebrates this era with great aplomb!
